Liz is a natural Asian beauty. She really wanted to keep her makeup as light and natural as possible. I used an all over face primer to set the base. I then used a concealer and a eye brightener around her eye’s. This really lifts and opens the eye’s. I then blended a small amount of foundation to the entire face and then added powder to reduce the shine. I kept her eye shadow very soft and light. Liz asked for a soft retro liner on her top lid. We then finished off with some waterproof mascara. Her cheeks had a hint of soft pink just on the apple of her cheek. For her lips I used MAC luster sweetie with a hint of MAC plush glass gloss just in the center of her lips.
For her hairstyle. Believe it or not, Liz has short hair. I curled her entire head with a small & medium iron. I then started pinning her style into place starting at the back and working my way to the front. I used a light hold working spray. I then finished her look off with a firm hold.

“Dear Tania, Thank you so very much for your wonderful work on me, my mom and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. You have such a talent for accommodating requests with just a flick on your brush. I couldn’t believe how quickly you were able to make the changes I asked for!! As for makeup… I never thought that I would have someone do my makeup and that it would look so natural and I looked like me only better. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Sincerely, Dawn.”
It can be a little overwhelming for the bridal to be. When choosing hair
extensions for your wedding day, you must take a few things into consideration.
and decided if that is the colour you will want to have on your wedding day.
Once you decide this, you can go ahead and purchase your extensions. It’s much
easier to change your hair colour, then it is to colour extensions, which I
don’t recommend. It is very messy and the colour may not turn out the way you
want it. Sending them to a professional can be an option, but it can get very
costly. You may want to choose hair extensions that match your hair exactly or,
you may choose to add a highlighted effect. I would aim for no more than 2
shades lighter than your current hair colour or the colour you are going to have
on your wedding day. Too much contrast can look cheap and not appealing in
photo’s. 2 shades lighter will give you a nice contrast and show off your
bridal hairstyle’s detail very nicely. It also show’s very well in
length is needed. Maybe both volume and length is something you desire.
Purchase only 100% human hair extensions. This is very key to having hair that
will look and feel natural and last a while for you. You will also be able to
style your extensions and use hot elements such as a curling iron and flat
iron. Choosing synthetic hair is not a good option. It just doesn’t look
natural and will not stand up to the use of hot elements and can actually burn
type and desired bridal hairstyle. Your hairstylist will be able to tell you
which length will work with your overall bridal look and features best. Hair
that’s too long on a small frame can look over powering. You want to be the
center of attention, not your hair extensions. Finding the right balance when
using hair extensions will add to your bridal look and compliment everything
well. Finding a bridal Hair specialist that uses extensions often, will take the
guess work out of it for you.
