So many brides are requesting their hair worn down these days, and Tania and her team of stylists created this look with a relaxed, bohemian style in mind.
Hair Type
Long, straight or wavy hair will work well for this style. If you have short or thin hair, Tania and her team often use extensions. The 18″ Hair Extension Set or the 14″ Hair Extension Set are matched to your own hair and can be placed in the front, back or sides of your head – wherever you need fullness and length. The idea is to give the hair an unstructured, tousled look. Our model, Ashely has fairly curly hair so Brides Etc. stylists used a large barrel curling iron all over her head to form ringlets. We then added extensions in a slightly darker shade a red then Ashely’s natural colour. This adds dimension and a low light effect to her hair.
Our bridal hairstylists then went back through the hair with large barel iron here and there. Next, the hair was teased at the crown and knotted for some height and fullness then the top layer of hair was smoothed and twisted over the teased portion. Tania recommends using a light hand here to maintain some texture. The top and sides were then gently pulled back, twisted and loosely fastened with bobby pins. The final added touch was our Cream Silk Dahlia Flower and Swarovski Crystal Silver Hair Clip.
